Controlled recycling - We select and coordinate responsible recycling partners to process the downstream recycling of scrap materials with the intent of maximizing the level of reclamation. We identify materials that can be reused as raw materials or harvest them for repair and refurbishment services.

Computer recycling, electronic recycling or e-waste recycling is the disassembly and separation of components and raw materials of waste electronics. Although the procedures of re-use, donation and repair are not strictly recycling, these are other common sustainable ways to dispose of IT waste.

E-waste or Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) are loosely discarded, surplus, obsolete, broken, electrical or electronic devices and Improper dismantling and processing of e-waste render it perilous to human health and our ecosystem. Therefore, the need of proper e-waste management has been realised and we at URAD-SA thrive on proper E-waste Management.

Three main steps in the process of recycling are described in greater as follows:

Collection

  • In the first step of the recycling process, the recyclables materials are collected.
  • After collection, the recyclables are then sent to a materials-recovery facility to be sorted and prepared into marketable commodities to be sold to processing companies.
Processing

  • In the second step of the recycling process, the recyclables are processed. Once cleaned and sorted, the recyclables are processed to retrieve the raw materials, and the raw materials are then used in manufacturing recycled-content products.
  • All recyclables need to be broken down, melted or liquefied into its basic elements, before it can be either made directly into new materials or mixed with virgin resources and made into new materials.
Purchasing Recycled Products

  • The third step involves purchasing recycled products and completes the recycling loop.
  • More and more of today’s products are being manufactured with total or partial recycled content.

Step-by-Step Process of E-waste Recycling

  • Step 1: Collecting and Transporting.
  • Step 2: Stripping & Sorting.
  • Step 3: Transporting it to the recycling plant
  • Step 4: Re-sell valuable materials
  • Step 5: Preparing recycled materials for sale
